I apologize for watermarking them, as quite truthfully, I didn't even make these maps in the first place. But it took me many, many hours to scan, crop, and upload these, and I basically had to break the binding on my strategy guide due to the book's thickness. It would have been impossible to scan otherwise...

Anyway, I hope you will find these maps useful. This index is still incomplete, and I'm still working hard to try to get the rest up as soon as possible.

I understand. It's the best I can do. I already have the scan resolution set to 600 dpi. I have a cheap scanner--sorry. Tongue

If you could figure out a way to get actual in-game maps, that would be very beneficial for all of us.

I have a idea of something.
You could extract the map data hex, and figure out what bytes mean what, and create each map from there.

It's not so simple this time around because there are actual 3D polygons involved in rendering the buildings. It's not just a simple tileset, as it was in previous generations.

Wow amazing. I understand that you can't do much so what you did here is beyond great. This can help people in so many was. Also, in the book it is prety small but I was able to see alot more with these(like the route before stark mountain I was able to see team galactic next to the lava which I didnt see in the book)  Wink Smiley

Thanks Tim, especially for the painful sacrifice of tearing up such a huge guidebook!

I find it really interesting seeing Sinnoh in 2-d.  I think to myself, "If I had seen these pictures before I knew that Sinnoh would be in 3-d, would I have been impressed?"
